The Plan

I was reading through my Worship Leader magazine because that’s what I do and I got a kick in the head.  This should wake up all of us church doers!

Here is the quote from the add in the magazine:

The saying is true…”If you fail to plan, plan to fail.”

Yikes!!!  No more procrastinating or we pay!

We the church are notorious for accepting the mediocre and then wondering why we are not able to compete with the culture around us.  Then we blame people for being more interested in other things than Jesus and the church.  Yes, Jesus is all they need, but they don’t know it yet.  We sometimes are just hypocritical, holier than thous.  Are we not?

  1. Planning and strategy is what i’m stuffing my brains with right now!!! Thanks for the reminder. Instead of blaiming others, we need to face the mirror. Si mang!

  2. Big problem: We offer God good, but certainly leave our best for other venues and times. God ALWAYS gives us His best and yet we continue to sell Him short. Why don’t we cut it out and give it ALL for Him?

  3. Reminds me of a quote our Pastor said last year sometime. It has stuck with me and is on my white board here at work. It says:

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten.”

So back to your quote if we always fail to plan we’ll always fail. The quote from our Pastor has encouraged me in so many aspects, at home, at work at play. It applies everywhere.

  4. My prayers have been answered!! Not one coffee reference. Glad to see ya’ back. “The Plan”, is His. Let’s be apart. Oh, by the way, like the tie-dyed look.
