JFK Quote

I’m reading a book by John C. Maxwell and anyone who has read any of Maxwell’s books knows that he quotes almost everyone.  Here is one that caught my attention:

“There are risks and costs to a program of action, but they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.”

–  John F. Kennedy

Maxwell commented, “Procrastination is too high a price for fear of failure.”

Well, my thought is this – A healthy, optimistic fear proceeds with caution and may even experience a setback, but defeating, pessimistic fear paralyzes and keeps one from giving his best potential.

If we fear failure so much that it paralyzes us and we procrastinate, we are impotent as leaders.

I say, FORWARD!!!
